In 2011 in a small two-bedroom apartment in Guam, after living
in Italy- Happy Manta Studio was born. They settled in this small island in the Pacific and made it their home. Fueled with inspiration and memorable experiences from traveling in Europe and beyond - The culture and vibe of major countries and cities made a lasting impression to both founders. To keep themselves reminded of each place, they began to collect keepsakes from their travels, most notably souvenir magnets.

In their early years in Guam, they saw that the majority of
mementos being sold didn’t really capture the island's essence. This led to the founding of Happy Manta Studio and the creation of Hello Guam! With extensive background as artist, they started to create and design their own magnets, tote bags, mugs and more. They found a manufacturer, produced them and started selling door-to-door to hotel gift shops and retailers.

Happy Manta, Inc. was incorporated in 2017. In that same year they created Whereto®, a brand they envisioned to represent countries and cities around the world. One of their biggest retail partner was seeking fresh ideas for their retail stores abroad - this led to an opportunity to create products that were distributed across Japan, South Korea and Europe.

While keeping the local vibe of Guam souvenirs, they also
strive to immerse on a global scale despite doing business from a small island. Hence- Humble roots, global view!
